DO YOU LOVE YOUR COUNTRY?

Do you love it enough to make the ultimate sacrifice?
I don't mean the sacrifice after which a garrison is standing
at attention, salute at the ready, seven deep, for bursts to fire 3,
a laurel garland about the brow of a coffin, teary-eyed relatives
somber and sullen,
I mean, do you really love your Country?
I mean, did you mean what you said when you took that oath
of defense? When was the last time you read the constitution
and all the articles of the bill of rights?
So, I ask, do you have the will to endure what true love really is?
'Cause the truth is: love hurts! If you believed otherwise,
you've fallen for the bait. You got caught up in the Disney deceptions,
black magic and witch craft to make you think that love is
something that always feels happy, joyful and sweet.
Yeah, man, love hurts, and it hurts deep.
So I ask again, can you stand up and show you love this nation?
Can you stand the ostricization of every man, woman and child,
around you as you attempt to open their eyes to what is devouring
them bite after bite?
Can you stand the glares of judgment from those closest to
you as they walk past you saying nothing for embarrassment
that you are there?
Can you deal with being called un-American and divisive
while Lee Greenwoods play in the background?
Can you stand fast even with the knowledge that no one
will ever know what you have done and no one would give
you honor or think otherwise of you? Can you take it?
How much do you love your country?
Can you take it?
Then if you can, I have some news for you:
You have a hard and lonely but lovely road ahead.
