Boston Warrior Writers Workshop
When: Saturday, December 14 at 11:30AM
Where: Old Oak Dojo, 14 Chestnut Place, Jamaica Plain. This is the Stony
Brook T stop on the orange line. There is plenty of parking if you
choose to drive.
What: We would like to quickly introduce Boston Warrior Writers. We are a
community focused veterans organization seeking to provide an
environment where veterans and military family members can produce
art, possibly (doesn't have to be) motivated by their experiences in
the military. We try to reach out to the public to share our work,
whether through open mic performances, or art exhibits or published
material. We currently hold monthly workshops at a community center called the
Old Oak Dojo in Jamaica Plain. We will be holding monthly writing
workshops at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans via a
partnership with Professor Julie Batten from Salem State.
