I am a career artist based in CA. I was born and lived on Kauai, Hawaii until I moved to Long Beach, CA in 1998. I served for six years with the United States Marine Corps, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion from 1999 to 2005. I studied illustration design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and I received my B.F.A. in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design in 2013. Currently I work as a multi-media artist where my observations and interactions with nature, urban landscapes, dwellings, new and current technologies and sub-culture are transformed into an expression of various shapes, forms and compositions in various scales no larger than a human. I also do work as a designer utilizing design thinking and methodology for organizational systems, social innovation, systems flow, quality service design and product creation. In my spare time, I like to teach kundalini yoga workshops that integrate creative thinking as a way through every block.
